Optimizing Comfort Systems in Buildings

Buildings account for one-third of the world's energy consumption, with 70% of that energy used for heating and cooling. Recognizing the potential for significant energy savings, Dolaana Khovalyg (EPFL| ICE) and Agnes Psikuta (Empa) have been awarded an SNSF grant to support the development of a guide for optimal use based on personalized comfort systems.
